The
JHM is a ministry-focused nonprofit organization based in the United States that partners with and supports Fundación Free the Oppressed (FTO) located in Honduras, Central America.
FTO operates: Prince of Peace Children’s Home, Casa Arco Iris for Pregnant Teens & Battered Women, Casa Santiago, a hostel for short-term mission teams, and Door of Hope Rehab Center from the small mountain-town of Zambrano, north of the capital, Tegucigalpa.

Fundación Free the Oppressed was formed in Honduras in 1995 to direct and run all the work envisioned by Jimmy Hughes Ministries. Since then Reverend Jimmy Hughes, his family, and Staff have invested in the lives of thousands of Honduran children, teenagers, and adults.
The very first ministry God gave Reverend Hughes was to work with those who suffer from drug and alcohol addiction, depression, bulimia, anorexia, gambling, rebelliousness, etc., thus the Door of Hope Rehab Center was established.
Since it opened its doors, teenagers and adults from Honduras and many nations have come to restore their lives. Our residents have come from several states in the US, from the Caribbean Islands and from all countries in Central America.
